Use code MERRYJULY on Imagekind
If you have been thinking of buying prints of my art work – NOW is the time! 50% off entire purchase for one day only! Today (offer ends on July 21st at midnight).
I have chosen to sell my prints on Imagekind because the highest standards of quality go into producing each giclee (fine art) reproduction.
I feel confident that people will be getting excellent quality prints which will do justice to my art. The prints on both paper and canvas are of museum quality made with archival materials.
Unlike many other sites, there is a choice of papers, including three types of hahnemuhle papers.
I also like Imagekind because I can set my own prices.
I like the fact that Imagekind often give offers, using different codes, making my work available to most budgets. In fact, at the moment there is a 15% discount using this code – SHOPIK15.
What are Giclee Prints?
The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer, and is much larger. Giclee prints are a little over a metre wide and are often affectionately referred to as a “knitting machine” as they look very similar.
Do Giclee printers use ordinary printers inks?
No. They use special light-fast inks, which, if kept out of the sun, will remain true for many years
